This world famous nightclub in Central London, close to Buckingham Palace, has a large, loud and very powerful sound system, with international Djs playing each night, well into the early hours. The night club is well run and organised, and the owners are responsible and take the care and safety of their staff very seriously. They were concerned that the high sound levels in the club could be in breach of the new legal Noise at Work Regulations for their staff.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustic Consultants Ltd were called in and commissioned to investigate and undertake a full Noise at Work Assessment with sound tests and a full noise survey, and to compile an acoustic report with detailed recommendations to meet all the Regulations.

 

Our Assessment was soon completed and our acoustic report issued to the owners and the recommendations were soon implemented.

 

Our report with all recommendations was approved by the Local Authority and Factory Inspectorate, and the club management could continue to run the club, now safe in the knowledge that their staff were safely protected, and any future claims for Noise Induced Hearing Loss could be effectively defended by their solicitors. The club continues to run successfully!
